I am very excited to announce the newest design concept for a kitchen vignette at Direct Buy of Tampa's showroom. The feel for this space is going to be so different from the other vignettes in the showroom.
The cabinets are white with gray counter tops giving it a great pallet to start with. All it needs is COLOR, which I really love. Color, color, and more color. As I decided which Sherwin Williams paint to go with, I knew I really wanted the paint to pop. So I decided to go with Lemon Twist #SW 6909. Bright, cheery, and will make a statement.
Here is a sneak preview of some inspirational concepts I have for the space. What do you think?

Bilkey Residence - Asian Flair
The Bilkey residence was decorated with an Asian flair in mind. I used a vinyl faux grasscloth in deep red, gold and black to enhance the tray ceiling. The ceiling fan just didn't have much of an impact hanging from their all alone so I found a distressed black and red wall medallion that I had custom cut for the ceiling fan to be mounted on that really gave the fan a designer feel. I carried this same wallpaper all the way down the master bedroom hallway and placed on the side walls of the bumped out area where their dresser was.
The custom drapes in the master bedroom had an additional panel left over so I had Flaymboyant Window Treatments to update their plain gold bedding. We used the additional panel by adding the fabric running along both sides of the length of the comforter. Chocolate brown fabric was used on custom pillows and had piping run along the edge. The Bilkey's were ecstatic with the end result and amazed at how we transformed a plain comforter into this updated bedding set.
